Artist Bio
Carol Lopatin enjoys the challenge of painting directly on location (plein air). She uses color freely and looks for surprising and unusual elements. All paintings are scrutinized in the studio where it may take some time for completion to occur. An important goal is to keep the unique, fresh quality of each place. Carol has received national awards and her work is included in many corporate and private collections. Carol's work was recently chosen for the southern states edition of "American Art Collector."
